Six-Drawer Dresser

This dresser is an elegant, easy-to-build addition to any bedroom. The secret is a simple plywood case for the drawers.

Even though this dresser is a large project, don’t let its size intimidate you — it’s surprisingly easy to build. Basically, the frame of the dresser consists of two end panels joined by a couple of long stretchers. Then, a case built from a single sheet of plywood slides right inside the frame. The design features thick corner posts, solid-wood end panels and top, half-blind dovetails, and a curved front stretcher at the bottom.
