Frame & Panel Headboard

This easy-to-build project is guaranteed to dress up any bedroom. Just pick your favorite style and you’ll have a beautiful, wall-mounted headboard in short order.

All you really see of most beds is the headboard. So why build an entire bed when you just need the part that shows? This project is simple, easy, and you can build it in no time. The headboard is a frame and panel assembly in the simplest form. A few pieces of molding hold the panel in place. And when you’re finished, the headboard hangs on the wall above the mattress. This straightforward design has another big benefit — it’s easy to customize. Besides the solid hardwood version in the main photo, two other designs are included. These headboards are sized for a queen-size bed. But if you have a king, full, or twin bed, it's easy to adjust the length to fit.
