The art of making clocks was once limited to a very small group of highly specialized artisans. Cutting and assembling intricate gears and movements from exotic woods and metals was an activity left to only the most experienced craftsmen. Its inexpensive quartz movement is far more accurate than most of its antique predecessors and far easier to install.
