How do you turn an ordinary planter into a project that’s sure to attract attention? Simple. Build it out of cedar and attach a trellis with curved copper climbing supports. Cedar and copper are excellent choices for outdoor projects—they're attractive, inexpensive and weather-resistant—not to mention easy to work with. Our Trellis with a Twist project plan makes the best of both materials in this combination planter box and attached trellis.
