This project plan is so rewarding to make in so many ways.
Based on the French curve, a fixed shape that's used as the starting point for designs using complex curves, this box will teach you how to confidently use your band saw on the tight turns and you'll also learn the intricacies of shaping and sanding. In fact, the box requires you to finish-sand to a final grit of 220. And though that will require a bit of patience on your part, its payback is in watching the wood's beautiful grain unveiled. Requires intermediate woodworking skills.
